ITINERARY FOR MY SON’S SUNRISE TOUR
Our Hoi An Private Car and local guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An Ancient Town or / Da Nang City at 5:00 a.m. The Sunrise at My Son tour begins. Our local guide will take you to the local early morning fish market on the way to My Son Sanctuary. This is an excellent location for learning about the local rural life of Hoi An’s fishermen. Enjoy the rustic beauty of a real fish market without having to set up ahead of time for tourists, and learn more about Vietnamese culture.
It is about 60 kilometers from Hoi An to My Son Holy Land, so it takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes to get there.
We’ll arrive at My Son around 5:50 a.m. This is the best time of day to see My Son’s mysterious beauty; enjoy the sunrise (in the summer) with the cool temperature, and avoid the crowds and traffic. The ancient, majestic ruined temples will take us about two hours to explore. We’ll learn more about the temple’s unique construction techniques, how the ancient Cham people made the bricks, and what kind of mortar they used to hold the bricks together.
